Powder Room Refresh

Happy Tuesday! I first just want to say thank you for all of the kind words and messages on last weeks post. I never can anticipate how others will feel when they read a post, I just kind of click publish and send it out into the world, and there is nothing better than seeing how something on your heart also resonated so much with someone else. I'm so grateful to have you all following along.

Today I just wanted to share about our little powder room refresh. This is a high traffic space within our home, as it is tucked away right beside the kitchen, and where most guests pop in, because of this it was in need of a little freshening up.

It was time to replace the hand towel, and I absolutely love how this one turned out. I worked with Southern Linens on Etsy to create this look, and they couldn't have been more helpful.

My most favorite soap to keep in a powder room is this set from Williams & Sonoma. It also makes for a great housewarming gift because it looks so nice. I don't know about your home, but we also tend to run out of the soap side well before the lotion, and I like that you can refill them individually when need be.

Our sink is actually one that we had in a previous home. When we first moved into that home I did not care much for it. It was originally a carmel brown color, so one Saturday I decided to paint it, and really liked the transformation. When we sold that home, we decided to take the sink with us. We sold and replaced the pedestal sink that was original to this homes powder room.

I picked up this little wastebasket at Target, it looks extremely similar to one from Serena and Lily but for a fraction of the cost. I love the texture on it, and that it comes with a lid, which is a nice bonus for a guest bath.

House projects just never end, and tend to take much longer with little ones. I love a small bath covered in geometric wallpaper or seagrass, and eventually I would like to do that in here to pack a small punch in a big way, but until then this little face lift was just what this space needed.
