One of my favorite ways to shop is locally. Wilmington has such a great group of boutiques that I love to pop in and look around, and always try to pick up a few things from. I adore Amazon and Nordstrom, and their speedy free shipping as much as the next person, but taking the time to purchase from a local business not only keeps it in the community, it also just seems a little bit more special. Bonus, when you buy locally, they will go ahead and wrap it beautifully for you, which is a total win in my book.

Zia Boutique : The perfect place to pick up beautiful earrings or accessories for anyone on your list! If you have seen me in anything cute in the last year, I can guarantee you it's from Zia.

Crabby Chic : Still needing an ornament for that exchange, or a little hand towel for a hostess gift? Crabby Chic has all of it and more!
Airlie Moon : You truly can't have too many yummy candles this time of year. Airlie moon has the best selection of beautiful candles. Get one for a gift and grab one for yourself in the new year.
The Fisherman's Wife : If you have someone on your list that registered for their wedding here, now is the perfect time to pick up a little something they may have forgotten once the big day has come and gone. These are the best gifts! Grab a scarf for your mom or mother in law as well while you are in there!
Another perfect way to shop locally this year is by reaching out to those in your network, for products you already know and love, why not gift them to someone this year?
Text your Rodan and Fields gal and get on her list for an extra sunless tanner. It's the perfect stocking stuffer, or if you really love her pick up a lash boost.
Message your friend who does Beauty Counter, and order a charcoal mask or moisturizer as a gift or to keep for yourself this winter!
Purchase a family photo session from your favorite photographer and gift it to your Grandmother! Is there really anything else she would rather have? If you need a recommendation, I have a great one!
